Why Shallow Feeders Work for Brachycephalic Dogs

Flat-faced breeds — brachycephalic dogs like pugs, French bulldogs, bulldogs, and Boston terriers — have difficulty reaching food in deep bowls due to their shortened snouts. Shallow slow feeder trays provide the perfect depth: easy to reach but still textured enough to slow eating, reduce gulping, and provide mental enrichment at every meal.

Four Seasons of Enrichment

The SodaPup Four Seasons eTray is a shallow slow feeder dog bowl designed to transform ordinary mealtime into a rich sensory experience. Each quadrant of the tray features a unique seasonal motif — intricate relief patterns of blossoms, leaves, snowflakes, and sun rays — that double as texture obstacles, slowing your dog's eating pace and engaging their nose and tongue throughout the meal.

Whether you're feeding dry kibble, wet food, raw meals, or frozen treats, the Four Seasons eTray's varied surface ensures your dog works through the tray at a healthy, measured pace. The TPE construction is gentle on flat-nosed breeds' faces, easy to clean, and built to last through years of daily use. Made entirely in the USA with pet-safe, FDA-compliant materials, it's an enrichment feeding solution as thoughtful as the design itself.
