The foraging toy that doubles as a greens holder.

Stuff it with cilantro, parsley, or lettuce for overnight enrichment — or fill it with hay for all-day foraging. The Hay Roller encourages natural rolling, nudging, and tossing behavior that keeps bored bunnies mentally engaged and physically active.

Why Rabbits Love Hay Rollers

Rabbits are natural foragers who thrive on mental stimulation and problem-solving. This rabbit foraging toy encourages your bunny to work for their food just like they would in the wild, promoting healthy eating habits and reducing destructive boredom behaviors like excessive chewing or digging.

Versatile Rabbit Feeding & Enrichment

Perfect for hay: Fill with timothy hay, orchard grass, or your bunny's favorite loose hay
Great for fresh greens: Add lettuce, cilantro, parsley, and herbs for variety
Works with treats: Include small amounts of rabbit-safe vegetables for extra engagement
Yes, it's messy: Your bunny will have a blast rolling and tossing it around—enrichment over tidiness!

🌱 Safe Materials & Design

Our hay rollers are made from PLA, a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch. It's commonly used in food-contact items and is non-toxic. The design encourages foraging behavior - bunnies focus on getting the hay and greens out, not chewing the roller itself. We rarely experience chewing issues in practice, as the rollers are designed to engage natural foraging instincts rather than gnawing behavior. As with any enrichment toy, we recommend supervised use, especially at first, and removing the item if your bunny shows unusually destructive chewing behavior.
