Why Shallow Feeders Work for Brachycephalic Dogs

Flat-faced breeds — brachycephalic dogs like pugs, French bulldogs, bulldogs, and Boston terriers — have difficulty reaching food in deep bowls due to their shortened snouts. Shallow slow feeder trays provide the perfect depth: easy to reach but still textured enough to slow eating, reduce gulping, and provide mental enrichment at every meal.

Balance, Beauty, and Enrichment

The SodaPup Sun and Moon eTray is a shallow slow feeder dog bowl designed to transform ordinary mealtime into a calming, enriching experience. The dual sun-and-moon motif creates a flowing pattern of curved ridges, radiant channels, and swirling textures across the tray's surface — distributing food into dozens of small pockets that your dog must navigate with their tongue and nose to clean out completely.

The result is a meal that lasts longer, promotes healthier digestion, and satisfies your dog's hardwired instinct to forage. Available in bold Orange and earthy Green, the Sun and Moon eTray is a standout addition to any dog's feeding routine. Like all SodaPup products, it's crafted in the USA from safe, durable, FDA-compliant polypropylene — no BPA, no PVC, no phthalates, and no compromise on quality.
